Are you ready for a jump start to grow your real estate investing business? Let's rebound from 2020 and thrive in 2021! Real estate investing does not rely on an employer or 401k and can allow you to create your own destiny. Toward that end, we have a very full class day to address many of your questions and help you on your way!

Whether you plan to replace income, grow wealth or build passive income streams, every investor wants to approach it from a strong, knowledgeable position and minimize risk. The topics covered in this all day live class can help you accomplish both, and teach you skills to make investing easier.

All four segments of this class day are beneficial for Wholesalers, Flippers and Landlords alike.
Determining Value, or Comps. Getting the "as is" and after repair value, or "ARV", numbers right will determine the maximum amount you can offer a seller and are critical to your bottom line. It takes time initially to learn to complete the financial evaluation but it is one of the most crucial parts of real estate investing education. Learn how to run the numbers to be sure your deal really is a deal.   Learn to Run the Numbers (Determine Value or Comps) at REIA Class 'Jump Start Your Real Estate Investing Business
Evaluating Rehabs. Upgrades and repairs needed on properties can in part depend on your planned use of the property. Wholesalers may want a general assessment to relay to a flipper, a flipper may want details to plan and price their project while landlords may want to plan and price a lesser project than a flipper might. Contract Law. You've run your numbers, evaluated the property condition and it's time to present an offer to the seller. Offers, Contracts, Counter Offers, Promissory Notes, Assignment Agreements, Confidentiality / No-Compete Agreements and Contractor Contracts can all be part of the mix. We'll discuss who can legally enter into contracts, competency, termination (or not) of contracts you enter into, liquidated damages, inclusion of legal descriptions and more. We'll learn the elements of creating or completing enforceable simple contracts. Asset Protection. An LLC, or Limited Liability Company, is typically part of the Asset Protection strategy of choice for most real estate investors. Protection from personal liability exposure, ease of entity management and pass-through taxes make using one or more LLCs very appealing. But is an LLC or another entity type right for you? We'll compare entity usage and maintenance and answer tough questions including what state to register your business, LLC Charging Orders, Piercing the Corporate Veil, entity liability termination and more. Registration and Prepayment Deadlines

  • Wednesday, November 25th. This class is open exclusively to REIA Members until the morning of Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
  • Wednesday, November 25th. Non-Members are welcome to register and attend if and as seating is available. 
  • Wednesday, December 2nd. Registration closes for everyone at the end of the business day on December 2nd.
  • Thursday, December 3rd. The final deadline to prepay the class fee using the link that will be provided to registrants by email. Links will be sent by email throughout the registration period though not necessarily on the same day that you register.

If registration shows "full" sign up on the waiting list! A spot may open up! If there is enough demand on the waiting list we will try to offer a second class. If you are available for an all day class during the week please let us know in the "comments" section of your registration.

Those who have not registered or prepaid this class will not be able to attend. No exceptions can be made.

Please plan to arrive as close to our 8 AM door opening as possible to allow sufficient time to check in and complete COVID screening in advance of our 9 AM class start. Social Distancing and Masks are required to attend all REIA events until further notice as we comply with State guidelines.
