Negotiation & Seller Financing

Fellow REIA Member George Pressley of Green Path Real Estate and Integrity First Mutual Mortgage joins us to provide education on both Negotiation and Seller Financing. Whether you are new to the game or a seasoned player, working within residential, multi-family or commercial or are a real estate broker, improving or refining your negotiation skills is key!
  
The Art of Negotiation can be of benefit in everything from buying at garage sales, purchasing cars to many other areas of life. Most important to us, effective negotiation can bring great benefit to real estate transactions whether with a buyer, seller, contractor or tenant. Our primary focus of this talk will be negotiating off-market deals with sellers.

Seller Financing is a powerful technique that every real estate investor should know. Seller financing can be applicable to any property type including potential rentals of all sizes and types, flips, land development or wholesale transactions.

What is Seller Financing? Seller financing is an arrangement and related agreement that allows the buyer to make their payments to the seller rather than to a bank or mortgage company. It takes all shapes and forms including short or long term financing, interest only, principal and interest, deferred payments and more.

About Our Speaker

 

George Pressley is a Charter Member of REIA with more than three decades of experience in the real estate industry, currently serving both as a real estate broker for Green Path Real Estate and in mortgage lending as the Designated Broker of Integrity First Mutual Mortgage. George is committed to providing service that is above and beyond expectations and works with utmost integrity that is beyond reproach.

George has extensive mortgage banking and real estate experience, conducting acquisition feasibility studies and analyzing financial documents such as bank statements, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, trusts, notes, deeds and other financial contracts for individuals and business entities.

George hails from New York and achieved a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College in the Bronx. He also holds a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Washington. George is a valued REIA Member and frequent REIA educator.

Registration and Prepayment Deadlines

  • Registration is now open! This class is available to REIA Members and Non-Members alike with registration required for all. 

  • Prepayment Required. Prepay the class fee using the link that will be provided to registrants by email. Payment links will be sent by email throughout the registration period though not necessarily on the same day that you register.

  • Friday, November 14th. Registrations close at 6:00 PM. All class fees are due for Members and Non-Members alike by 7:00 PM and all unpaid registrations will be cancelled. No exceptions. Sorry, we do not accept event fees at the class.

  • Saturday, November 15th. Class day! Doors open at 8 AM. The class will begin promptly at 9 AM. We look forward to seeing or meeting you!

Payment In Full At Event Only
This REIA Class is $99 for REIA Members; Guests are welcome and attend for $119. Registration is required for everyone. A payment link will be sent by email to those registered with an event fee due before the meeting as indicated in the Registration and Prepayment Deadlines section on this page.
